o2 ice mobile phone

Featured Replies

Bought an o2 Ice mobile for my daughter as a Christmas present.

problem ive got - I cant get the memory card to work. The phone takes a micro SD card but I cant get anything to save to it.

Once the card has been inserted the phone displays a small icon in the top right hand corner of the screen so it is aware it has external storage. Now when I go into memory settings it says external storage nil.

Ive tried three different cards 500mb and 215mb both different brands.

Anyone got one these and managed to get their memory card working?

Hi ChrisG

Just a guess, not sure with the micro card, but with the standard card, there is a switch on the side to stop over writing onto the card !

I seem to remember having to rename my sd memory card (not a micro) I called it something original like "memory card" :) when trying to get my Nokia to recognise it.

You could try that or maybe it needs formatting ???

Again, just a guess but HTH.
