Trying to install Auto-CAD

Featured Replies

Right...

Trying to install Auto-CAD 2007 on me laptop, but it keeps opening Roxio Easy CD Creator ******, as apposed to installing it

Now, this craptop doesn't have microsoft office on or pretty much anything tbh...

Are there other programs I need to be installed in order to support the installation of this program?

Thanks for your help

Are you using a original CD or do you have a disk image file? If the latter then the software is trying to burn a CD for use.

Dunno lol, it is trying to burn a CD for use though.

Thing is it works on me other laptop and computer, but not having it on this one, the only laptop I really need it on :(

No your right, its a disk image file.... what use is that ?

if you can burn the image to a cd and it should work as it is supplied on a cd then.

our autocad is on a dvd disk, but do the same burn in onto a dvd.

But not as an image.

Let CD Creator burn a CD/DVD for you and then it'll install from that.

Either do as above, or mount the image using something like Alcohol 120% and run it from HDD or un-rar the Iso to get to the setup.exe file

Have you installed it on other machines from the cd you are inserting?

if so then your other laptop isnt reading the cd properly and thinks its a blank one which is why easy cd is loading as it thinks you want to put something on the blank one.

Probably due to the cd drive in the laptop not supporting the copied media you have put in.
