2.5-3 weeks to go

Featured Replies

Well nearly there...should have my new vRS 2.0 petrol in under 3 weeks.

I went with standard spec, which in Ireland includes some things I know were not on the UK spec. originally - dual zone climate, rear electric windows, jumbo box etc..

The only extra I went for was the 18" alloys.

The sales person I spoke to today mentioned the garage fit them themselves. So does the alloys come from Skoda with tyres fitted, or does the dealer go off and source the tyres. Hoping I don't end up with garbage.

Excitement is building up now. Also looking forward to my 1k deposit back as it will be nice to upgrade the PC at the same time :)

Sound to me as if someone didn't like there 18's so want your 17's...but I could be wrong. I assumed they'd come in with the 18's on.

I heard of a dealer before who brought the car in with steelies and put the Alloys on in the docks, cheaper when it came to the VAT IIRC

Btw Which dealer are you going through...maybe PM me with info ;)
