Can anyone tell me whether the above is standard in any of the models?

Is it any good? And how many speakers?

no it's the Stream all the way through.

When ordered from the factory it comes with a 12 speaker upgrade package including an amp under the passenger seat.

I thought they stopped offereing it though?

I dont believe they offer the audience any more as the stream can now play mp3s, but only on the internal cd player.

The audience can play MP3s from six discs unlike the stream, and I like it even though mine only has the 8 speakers.

When I bought my Octy the Audience Header Unit was one upgrade and the Power Amp and additional speaker another. But very happy with it.

I have it with the Amp and 4 extra speakers as well. Went out in another L&K a couple of weeks ago and there was a real fdifference in the quality of sound. Worth it IMO

Audience was the best piece of additional equipment i both with my Elegance Octy.

It was important to me to have mp3 in the car so i didn't have any other choise, it was costly, but it worthed.

If you enjoy the music as i do, don't miss it!

CHEERS!

But beware that the positioning of the tweeters in the front doors makes it impossible for both front seat passengers to get any balanced soundstage - when driving I have to have it 4-5 balance notches to the left to get it centralised - tough on the passenger, who will end up with left-ear deafness.

Never had this problem with the Octy 1, where the tweeters were as far forward as possible. In the Octy 2 you're stuck with it whatever option you go for - a great pity, since the Audience is essentially a good system.
