Just looking for a set of wheels for the Fabia. Got a few in mind but how big can i go?

Im looking at a nice set of 16x8's just now on perhaps a 60mm drop and obviously I can stick stretched tyres on. Is this feesable?

Whats the ideal offset and is it still 4x100 like the Polo?

Its a 2003 if that matters.

PCD is 5x100.

The vRS 16" alloys are ET38 but they are 6.5" wide.

I have a set of TT Comps on at the moment which are 7.5x17 ET32 & they fill the arches nicely.

Should fit with the right tyres, great.

I have 17s and around a 60-70mm drop, and all fine.

^How close are they, i mean can you take people in the back.

Just saying as ive just ordered coilovers and ive got some TT comps waiting to go on

I can take people in the back as my coilovers are so stiff, even having a boot full of cement wouldn't affect them.... Doesn't make for a pleasant ride on rough roads though.

Have you noticed any performance difference since fitting these Jon? I know they're a fairly heavy alloy.

No, not really. There maybe a tad off initial aceleration, but nothing noticable.

Has improved high speed stability a great deal.

Still tempted by some in a similar shade to yours, but would like to see how they'd go with silver

Have you kept with the Audi centre caps? Hoping I can track down some Seat ones that will fit, if end up going down this route - hopefully will help with the OEM+ route

Yeah. Got them painted the same colour, so it would be a shame not to use them.

I quite like them, not too "in-yer-face".

While on a similar subject. Where can I pick up perhaps some -60mm springs online? Not too keen on spending too much and going for coilovers though.

coilovers arnt that expensive, i just picked up some new ones for under £300 delivered
