Cars gone in to get the doors sealed for the 2nd time.lets hope it will last a bit longer this time!!

How many times has every one else had theirs done?

What doors are allowing water in on yours?

The one I have bought is letting in water in at at the rear passenger door. As far as I can see the door isnt shaped right so Im going to bend it into shape on Saturday.

My rear passemger side door used to leak like mad!!! First time i asked to get them resealed was when the car was getting serviced, the following day the water was still pouring in!! Took it back the following day to be reaseled AGAIN and never had a problem with them since!!

Wel got the car back, they said all four were gone.last week.they have re-done the front ones again but they said the back membranes have gone. so looks like it be another trip down there for the 3rd time in a week.

Think that my back doors at least are leaking too. Not terribly like some other posts but the NS back carpet is damp and the door card on the offside. Front seems OK.

Wondered whether anyone knew what part actually tends to leak. Is it the seal around the door itself, or does water get in between the window and the door, or is it just the membrane inside the door itself?

Mine's 52 plate which I bought from an independent dealer. Does anyone have any experience of getting this fixed by Skoda - I assume mine is out of manufacturers warranty but maybe not??

If it's quite straight forward, I could have a go myself or if not then get it done under the dealer's warranty I guess...?

Its well covered on here what causes the leaks, and how to fix it.
