As you will know there have been 'failures' of the type 'B' and 'C' DV valves where the diaphram splits. There is a solution, but it's costly!!!!

MTM/Pierburg 2.0T FSI DV Replacement

Forge are working on a solution at the moment but it looks like they are at least a month or so away from launching it.

It seems to me that MTM's solution is nothing more than this (Notes :: OEM Diverter Valve, Electronic),

a "C" revision valve with a MTM sticker on it.

I'm no expert but they are claiming to be using a 'teflon' valve which I imagine wont split under the stresses like the OEM version. Whether it's worth all that extra remains to be seen.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a stickered OEM one. That has been on offer for a little while and if it were any good or any different the Yanks would be jumping up and down about it.

The yanks are holding out for the Forge one, but there is no sign of it yet!.

Easy: Pointless Costly Valve

It's a valve that allows the cams and valves area (cover of the engine) to exhale any gas pressure that is built up,into the intake manifold.Forgive my english.

The thing with this valve is that when you upgrade your ECU to stage 1, the increased boost (1.4 over and 1 constant) forces air of the manifold to invade the camshaft area creating pressure that blows oil out of the filler cap.Stu i need your help here.
