The performance would need to be vastly increased to make up for those wheels - standard wheels are much nicer.

350nm of torque :eek: - I think I read somewhere that that is the max. load on the clutch. If so, then I would expect a burning smell pretty soon.

I would of said the standard clutch is capable of around 400NM. I don't know, but that'd be my guess.

Still looks like a nothing car.

We have a lot of chipped RSes running around here in Greece and none (but one) has ever reported clutch problems (slipping or smelling).

The one forementioned, after having raped his car taking off from traffic lights (at least 5 consecutive), the clutch sterted smelling and slipping. That guy is Revo'ed

standerd car much better looking:thumbup: the performance would be sweat and suttle:cool: although with remap turbo and exhaust/intercooler id say there is more power/bhp tuning kits out there:rolleyes: surely your not tempted gaff:eek:

Wheels look 5hite. Leave the 18" Zeniths where they are. Period.

Na, just came across it accidentally and thought it may interest someone.

Has anyone come across a site that does a decent front spoiler for the new vRS?

It's the one area I think is a let down.

Also we/I NEED a wrc-style rear spoiler ASAP but I havn't come across any yet. :(

wheels look like something from the 90's! and they're different on both side! I think the standard wheels are better but don'e think they've done enough to make the vrs look different from the rest of the range.

My current car is a Favia vrs but next one might be the scout tdi - what does everyone else think of it?

Both sets o' wheels look really ugly IMO.

It's just that 99% of RSs run around with stock wheels (which look good BTW) and any other set would make yours stand out (in a bad way with those 2 sets)

Cheers Sarah.I actually have the Mk I so I am happy with my front spoiler!

Just feel a bit sorry for the Mk II boys.The front of it is a bit weak.Certainly not aggressive.Not enough to scare people when it appears in the rear view mirror:)

Be interested to see the first Mk II with a decent beefed up front end!
