Cost to change

Featured Replies

Ok, had some great advice from the forum before so fingers crossed those with more Skoda knowledge than me can offer some advice.

Apologies if this should have been in the Superb section.

Currently own a Superb - 10 months old 55 Plate, 3k Miles 2.0tdi elegance.

Looking to change for an Octavia Vrs (petrol) of similar age (want something more exciting) - give or take a few months, not too fussed.

What do you think the cost to change will be for me?

Lastly, is the Octavia Nav a CD based system?

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers

I'm an idiot :) should have been in the New Octavia section doh!

The MFD2 Navigation is CD based, reetrofit rather than dealer option is much cheaper.

As for cost to change, well to be honest that is anyones guess and you'd need to talk to a couple of dealers.

Cheers VRStu,

Have an enquiry in with a dealer to get a ball park guide and will pop and see them tomorrow if the cost to change is not too much.

Just wanted a few ideas as to amount to change as whatcar etc does not value the cars much differently, but there is a price difference on autotrader.

Good news is the insurance is more or less the same....think the cost to change may be prohibitive though!

Hard to say without knowing the spec of your Superb.

Be prepared to take a large hit.

I would say

Your figures are probably in line with what I have seen....the Octy I have seen is advertised at sub 16k, just depends what they will give for mine.

Ta

There are a couple of Octys on skodas used site for under 15K all depends what you want.

They will take the p with the part ex price of yours and then put it in the showroom for
