You know him?

The Discovery towing him seems to be going quite fast!

You know him?

Yes

lolololololol

i bet there was some whiplash in the Land Rover , when the Scooby jammed then the tow rope snapped

Just don't go looking for the same thread on Scoobynet unless you've a 1/2 day or so to read the follow-ups, RSy comments and arguments. :)

Oh that's such a shame. He must have been gutted.

I hope he was insured as thats some shine luxk

He swore a lot! Not a good day out in anyone books!

ooops..... any damage to the tow car......

only time ive ever seen the steering lockup like that is if the key isnt in the ignition!

What a random accident, how did it happen?

Any scoobynet readers got more info?

Gutted :(

Oh dear, thats one way to write off your scooby!

Like what has been said above, the guy did have the key in the correct position to stop the lock fro coming on? Also I guess the towing car should have kept more of a watch in his mirrors

damn shame, and no i'm not taking the micheal.

must have been so upsetting/frustrating/annoying to get your car jus thte way you want it with all the promise of the up coming map to have it all dashed for such a stupid simple mistake.

what was the spec on the scooby biomulv?? any idea's?

Obviously some kind of fault with the steering lock there, you wouldn't be able to turn it anywhere near that far if it was functioning correctly.

i don't have any experience with imprezza's but i know some cars have to turn quite far for the steering lock to engage, my little mazda has only one locking point by the looks of things and has to turn about 180degrees to lock so i expect you could get quite far round normal roads without it locking like that imprezza did.
