Yes, Otka is going.

We have had our fun and harship in equal measure but I have decided that the slag has to go.

I will miss her. She will stay in my memory for a long time, the red slut-bitch.

You all wanted her and I would have let you have her because she can't get enough of it.

The dirty slapper.

Bye bye Otka...

Sod off then ya whingeing get! ;)

Only kidding mate, it'll be a shame to see you go. Getting something with a cheaper to replace sump and a waterproof passenger seat next time?

Goodbye Mr Lucky!

Have you chosen a replacement for Otka yet?

  • Author

Yes a replacement has been chosen...

Mr Lucky

Yes it is a rude question.

Car is vRS in Corrida Red with reverse sensors, cruise and Skoda towbar.

11500miles first registered September 1st.

I am getting just over 12k for it.

Why?

i am looking to buy one  your a bit far away tho.

Mr Lucky

When to you pick up 'new otka'? What colour have you gone for this time? Any options?...and what about the wheels , keeping the 16s? (sorry for so many ?s !)

  • Author

Dmac, hold the press.

Otka stays...

Mr Lucky

Whats happened? Did you find you preferred the hatch after all? Was it 'those' wheels???

  • Author

Damn Yes!

I washed Otka, gave her the full monty with the wax and hoover and clocked her as the sun was setting. She is too bootylicious to chop in for an overpriced box with tiny boolers.

I HATE those 16inch alloys. They are such a cop out. There is no way that Otka is going.

Otka stays and I am ashamed to admit she was nearly out the door. The salesman was a tad ****ed when I told him. I was about to sign on the dotted line. I just told him that I didn't want to trade her just yet and anyway I couldn't justify the increase in payments (I can, but not for a boxy crock of ****e with tiny wheels!).

Eeeuuurgghhh! To think I nearly bought black!

It would have looked like a hearse...

Quite right - it would have been mistaken for a Chrysler PTCruiser :D

But seriously, do the alloys on the vRS estate really look THAT small?

I think Manny posted some pics here from the Motorshow. Personally I think they look all wrong.

Check out the pics and see what you think.

Cheers.

Adrian.

No offence intended to the owner of that car, it is very nice.

To me, owner of a hatchback RS, it doesn't look different enough from the rest of the Octavia estate range. Possibly it does from different angles, just not this one and I don't think the wheels look too small, but I would prefer 17s

Jon

Sorry about that Manny!

Cheers.

Adrian.

Thats ok Adrian

In a thread over on vortex gurra has said that he has winter tyres fitted on the 16" wheels, but he has 17" wheels ready to go on once the winter is over.

It definitely needs 17" wheels to make it look right. And is it my imagination, or does the car sit higher than a normal Estate (not 4x4)? I would have expected it to sit lower like the RS Hatchback.

PS for TaviaRS - snakes shouldn't smoke for reasons which I would be happy to explain. :nono:

Denis, for you information Puffy the Python does not smoke, its just that when I take him out on a lead he has trouble keeping up. Maybe next time I get a pet I'll get one with legs and just to keep it on topic (vaguely)

"Having to drive a RS without 17s is like having to take a pet with no legs for a walk"

:P

Boys boys Play nicely now. Remember where you are.
