Protective Seat Covers for the VRS

Featured Replies

Hi I was wondering if any of you had bought some protective covers for the front seats in the VRS, I have bought a couple of sets and had to take them back as they are too tight, just wondered if anyone knows where I may get some?

I only have them on after playing Squash / Football, I've had some of the polythene ones for a while but they end up splitting!

I use two Skoda workshop one's with the Skoda logo on them (they are ok) when im working covering a rally event. I picked up a demon tweeks catalouge at the Autosport show at the NEC yesterday and see that Sparco make what seems to be a good set of front seat covers from the pics. If you are close to demon tweeks Wrexham HQ call in to see if they fit the Fab Vrs seat.

I got a couple from eBay - but they're slightly too tight too. They're usable in an emergency but after a couple of days they slip.

On non-vRS seats I'd imagine they would be fine.

do the hatchbag covers cover the back of the seat as well?

I believe Seat Surgeons do a really nice leather set for around

The Hatchbag covers do cover all the cloth on the seats. They are a pretty good tailored fit, as good as you can get a slip on cover to fit and are held on with long elastic straps that go under the seat.

I work in the production office for a metalwork fabrication company where the steel is oiled and it's very easy to get it on your cloths and hence onto the seats on the way home so I need something to protect my seats regardless of their colour.

Mine were the prototype set and are still in A1 condition after 2.5 years use. They are obviously a little slippier than the seat cloth, but it's never been a problem because of the bucket style seats in the vrs. They don't get too clingy or sweaty in the summer, although you can now order them in a breathable material aswell.

They are certainely waterproof and when some oil from a chinese takeaway leaked out of the bag, that didn't soak through either. They are highly recomended. I use mine all week for work and take them off for meets and holidays. After a bit of practice it only takes 5 minutes to fit both covers and when removed they will roll up into the storage compartment in the passenger seat base.

I hope that answers your questions :)
