Would there be any issues fitting the springs & dampers from a vRS onto a 1.4 petrol Fabia?

Just thinking of the heavier front end that the PD130 has compared to the 1.4 petrol.

Yes. :) The front end of the petrol would sit very high indeed, and I'd bet the ride would be pretty awful as the vRS springs/dampers are stronger to dampen the weight of the engine, etc.

Stick with the 1.4 springs but fit vRS dampers as they are stiffer.

Nah, the Mini's staying put - the missus loves it to bits!

Decided to sell the OEM springs & dampers as they are only sat in the shed gathering dust. Somebody was interested in buying, but had a petrol Fabia & I wasn't sure if they were suitable.

Selling off the OEM front discs & calipers aswell.
