Thanks for the advice mate, but it never really needed sorting as I found out today at the local Skoda dealer whilst in for a service. It was just me being fussy after years of driving steptronic BMWs....

....but the clutch/flywheel deal from AwesomeSarah is on my list if I decide to go for the very big numbers...(it IS a very good price)....:)
