Best place to buy touchup pen?

Featured Replies

Anyone know where the best place to get a paint touchup pen is? Should I just go to the dealer or is there somewhere I can buy one cheap online? How much should I expect to pay?

I have a skoda one, simular to the ones on ebay, but yet to attempt it, incase i make a **** up.

Halfords do some pen touch up sets, not sure how good they are.

I paid £5.08 for an aerosol can of paint and £5.10 for touch up paint - both from a Skoda dealer.

Skoda dealer it is then. I've tried halfords paint before and personally wouldn't use it again, especially with red paint as it's so obvious if it doesn't match.

Cheers for the answers guys.

Despite whats been said above, I find the Halfrauds touch up kit excellent, I also have a Skoda pen kit but the brush is far too big and the lacquer too gungy to use even when well shaken, my car is black magic.

Skoda dealer - cheaper than Halfrauds, and they actually have the full range of colours (some only to order).

According to the Halfrauds list, there are no, repeat no, greens used for any VAG vehicle, although there's my Skoda, a Golf and an A4 in the car park here!
