Tesco Value Insurance

Featured Replies

I was getting a quote on tesco for the vrs i am possibly about to buy, fully comp, protected NCB etc

I have had it almost for a year and it is fine and it was cheaper than anything else. However I have been fortunate that I have not had to make a claim. From what I remember the basic excess is quite a lot and depending on other factors there are additional excesses to include, I factored roughly

for £3 a month difference I'd prefer a policy with a smaller excess and more extras included

I was wondering has anyone had any experience with tesco value?, they have higher excesses and a few other constraints, but providing i dont have an accident :P they look ok.

I'm guessing they're both underwritten by the same insurer and the idea is that they just crank up your excess so it's cheaper for you if you're claim free (a lot of other companies do this :D) I've claimed from Tesco (non-value) Insurance in the past and they were excellent, so I can't see there being any problems so long as you read the small print :D

You could post in the insurance section and get a better response.
