skoda stalls just after i starting

Wonder if anyone can help me when i start my skoda in the morning and leave it it shakes and then it will stall has anyone had a simular problem

i have read some of the threads and they say its the temp sinsor

i dont know what to do

I dont no much but i had this same problem and it turned out to be a lamda sensor. Ive ended up getting 2 replaced since i bought the car, little buggers. please anyone feel free to correct me if im spouting rubbish :)

how much are the sensor about?

did you have to got to the dealer?

sometimes you can just clean some of the sensors they just get cloged with ****

it happened with one on my skoda took it to the dealer they wanted 280 pound to replace it my friend took it out cleaned it and its fine

Hi Mate

have you every have any problems with these sensors

17589 -- linear 02 sensor /ref voltage open circuit

16785 -- exhaust gas recirculation (egr) flow insufficient

that lamda sensor that you where talking about if you know could you please let me know where abouts in the car it is

17604 -- 02 sensor circuit circuit bank sensor electrical malfunction

sorry dont no much bout where the sensors are, i got an RAC guy to check the fault code for me but he had no idea after an hour why my fault light was on cos the code wasnt on any of his systems. Useless if you ask me.

I took it to the dealer the first time, they said they had to take the exhaust manifold off to sort it, done on warranty.

Second time i had to pay it cost £100 for the sensor itself and £40 odd for labour. They toold me i had 2 lambda sensors and both went, i have only had the car under a year, makes me worry what the last guy did to it. (cant be worse than what i do :)
