Has anyone fitted a skoda sat nav system (double din type unit radio/cd player) into a octavia

Ive got an o2 ooctavia vrs and wonder if it is just a straight fit ie are all the wires in place just plug in and go

I would be greatful for any help

lost in the wilderness without sat nav

Oh, and apparently you can purchase these things on Ebay, although the antenna supplied is a bit pants...just my opinion you understand;)

If I am right in thinking you mean an 02 Octavia RS in which case it's a MK1 and would be an MFD rather than MFD2.

I got mine from ebay for £290. Add to that a plug&play cable for £16 and that should be all. You can further expand it with a AV Aux input (£72) should you wish.
