door pins

Featured Replies

Anyone fitted any aftermarket door pins onto their fabia's? was wondering if they are an easy fit? I'd be after some VW or audi ones to keep with the OEM+ feel of things. A nice set of brushed aluminium ones would look ace in my car if anyone's got any pics that'd be great thanks,

Paul.

i'm sure you dont mean the door pins?????

do you mean the lock striker pin?? if so, then dont fiddle, because you central locking will never work properly ever again

door pins, as in the bit that pops up when you unlock the car, on the top of the door card.

Fabia vRS all ready has chrome ones on the front, as of 2006MY the rears were deleted anyhow.

any pics of them?

here is the manual for the pins exchange (they seem to be called the door lock knobs). I exchanged mine once and kept the manual:) The pic 1 shows the 4x door knobs and 1x a piece of a rubber tube/pipe. that's to be put on the pin so you do not scratch it at assembly.

Hope that helps.
