My accelerator pedal is making a quite loud "squeeking" noise when i press it. I've been told its possibly the clutch. Does any one have any experience of this and if it is the clutch how difficult would it be to fit a new one ? Thanks

i can't understand how pressing the accelerator can have anything to do with the clutch , especially if your not touching the clutch pedal at the time of the squeak

My clutch slipped a bit when I first got the car. When I floored it in 1st, 2nd or 3rd I got a loud squealing noise. If it's squealing just after a shift then that could be clutch slippage.
