Hi folks,

I was wondering if anybody here is running 17" 5-spoke TT rims?

I mean these ones:

If yes then please post pics (especially if you have a black limo)

I'm also wondering if there aren't any rubbing issues with these rims since I've heard that these have ET32.

Those are TT Comps and there's at least 3 Fabias with them. Xav's one springs to mind.

I've got 17" TT rims on but they are the 6 spokes not the comp rims. I've not had any issues with rubbing and am running 225/45/17 tyres

No issues running them on the Fabia so I imagine the octavia will be fine, never seen one with them on though

You shouldn't have any problems running the TT Comps on an Octavia.

Even with a 25mm drop, mine are fine....................

I'm liking them, what size tyres have you got on them?

205/40/R17 or 215/40/R17

205/40 R17 Toyo T1-R's

i must admit i really do like the look of those wheels on a fabia

a lot of pictures of these rims on a Fabia are available but I didn't find any yet under an octavia :(

I have a set of S3 rims arranged within the next few weeks so will post pics once they have been refurbed, and fitted.

Same size and fitment as the 6 spokes above IIRc - they are on 225/45s as well.

Yep I looked into the S3 wheels and they would look great on an Octy.

BTW i've got Skoda centre caps now which look alot better.

I am thinking of getting them refurbed in gunmetal - should contrast nice with the yellow

i used to have one of those comp TT wheel on my last car MK4 Golf gti, i only paid 200 quid wivout tyre in mint condition and pretty much suit any vag car believe me .

Not yet mate, I won't get my hands on them for 3 or 4 weeks yet as the guy i'm buying from is waiting for his BBS CH.

I will only get them gunmetal if they can do something with the centre caps!

Update: I picked my new wheels up on Saturday

They have been dropped off and will be getting refurbed this week in graphite/gunmetal colour.

Going to run without centre caps (a la Star Fabia) until I can get a decent paint match and spray the centre caps.

Get them back on Sat, and once I have given them a good coat of Poorboys wheel sealant I will fit them to the Octy.
