Sluggish VRS

Featured Replies

Hi,

I noticed tonight when I jumped in and drove off that for 10 seconds or so I had no go IE very very sluggish on pullaway.

Is this something to do with supposedly letting the car warm up 1st?, it happens and then goes away right away, is their a warm up and cool down precedure?

yeah, let it warm up before booting it and let it cool down if you have been giving it death :)

simple as that really.

As mentioned keep the revs low for the first few miles (below 2-3k) before giving it more.

I completely agree - I don't go above 3k until it's fully warmed up, also don't cane it till you park up and just switch it off, go gently for the last stretch

I have an oil temp gauge in mine and it doesn't start to read (50 deg c) until AFTER the water temp has reached normal..... so take your'e time...
