Whats the best diesel to use in my 04 furby vrs? BP Ultimate etc etc??:confused: Is there any real difference??

Totally subjective. Personally I found that Ultimate increased my fuel consumption by 10%. Supermarket stuff caused excessive smoking. So, I stick to standard BP and Esso and all seems fine.

Almost everyone has a differing opinion on it really.

any old diesel + add millers diesel power plus, or the new sport 4 additive. Much better than paying extra p.p.l for a fuel which doesn't really have any benefits (for me).

Yeah i've been reading about this Millers diesel power plus and sport additive. Its been mentioned a few times though that you shoudnt put additives in the pd engine??:confused: Are the gains noticeble in your oppinion?

Would it be ok to use with a 1.9 PD TDI 105ps jobbie that meets Euro IV requirements ??

In relation to the original question asked in this thred, I use the Shell Extra Stuff.... seems just as good as Ultimate but costs the same as standard deisel.

Looking forward to trying out this V Power Diesel though once it becomes widley avilable

It says that it's suitable for use in all Euro IV engines, so I'm guessing it'll be fine (assuming your handbook/Skoda agree )

BP Ultimate has the highest cetane value of any diesel on the forecourts therefore your car will produce more power.
