Exhaust?

Featured Replies

Somebody told me the other day that If you need a new exahust for a Fabia, you have to replace the entire exhaust from front to back.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

:iagree: You can do it all, or do in sections. First thing I did with my TDI was put a cat replacing pipe in, and a new backbox - rest was all oem. Then I had a stainless pipe put in from the end of the downpipe, to the tail - Then finally replaced the downpipe. It really doesn't matter how much you do and when. :)

That's good to hear - cheers chaps.

Just become a fully fledged member of the Skoda club on Sat - X reg 1.4 16v comfort - 54K on the clock, black magic paintwork with tinted windows. Excellent nick - Just over 3k

Very pleased with it - got a cambelt change and 1 years warranty, car has Skoda FSH.

Reckon it'll need a new exhaust this year - the box attached to the pipe (as you can see I'm not very technically minded) is looking a bit iffy. How much for that bit - any idea's?

Its all one part from the factory from the cat backwards, but both middle and rear sectins can be replaced and sleeved.

At lot of aftermarket rear silencers need the original exhaust to be cut anyway, so not a big deal for something that will really smarten up the rear of the car :)
