Proxes T1-R or EAGLE F1 GS-D3

Featured Replies

I had Falken 512s on my last car and was very impressed with them for the money, think I will give the 452s a go when I'm replacing my tyres....thanks for the heads up :)

I was goin to go for 512s at first, but then the falken dealer told me that they have the new 452s so i went for them, I had fk451 GRB on my car for over a year and over 40,000 kms, Only replaced them when a big nail went in one of the tires and i couldnt find the same size so i got a set of 4 of the 452s, You wont find a better tire for money though

just had 2 toyo t1-r's fitted to the front of the fab, first impressions

really quite tyres and ride feels much smoother.

havent really pushed it round bends yet as i am waiting till they scrub in abit.

They are also particularly cr*p in cold weather.

Amen.

They weren't bad at the start of their life, but I'm down to 3mm on the fronts now and looking to get a new pair. 3mm + cold (morning) weather and I'm actually scared of the car sometimes. After they've warmed up they're fine, but the first two busy junctions on my way to work are perilous.

Though I am very tempted to replace them with more GSD-3's as they were a great improvement on the Conti's and look nicer than the Proxies. But then again I'd like to try the Proxies and make an informed choice. So it'll probably come down to price in the end.

i'm the same as this with the proxes - they are nearly at the wear bars - and i get light up in 2nd on a dry road every time on a dry road with a heavy right foot.

had eagles all round on my old car. i seemed to be tip-toeing round on the t1-rs, even on a rain soaked motorway :thumbdwn:
