Just thought i would say HI

I am new to the site, got recommended to join. I owned the old shape octavia VRS and now i have the new shape (petrol of course ). Love the car, standard at the mo but looking to spruce it up a bit. Not the styling just alittle on the performance...

Very confused and apologies if covered elsewhere but can't find it... looking to get a towbar fitted for caravan towing and an independent towbar company is warning about coding and about the rear emergency braking kicking in and not letting me reverse with the caravan in place. Another has said they can fit a towbar but I'd need to take it to a dealer to get it coded. I've contacted my local skoda dealer and they've quoted £1900 for a towbar to be fitted!! I think that when in reverse I can d

My recent (non-Skoda) cars have given dashboard warnings when the battery in the key fob runs down. This gives the driver the opportunity to change the battery and to keep the key functional. The battery in my Superb's key fob recently ran down, and it went from fully operational (working the button "plip" as well as the keyless entry) to completely flat during the course of a day at work. Does anybody posses a list of reputable skoda specialists or garages that people could recommend that aren't main dealers (I distrust main dealers) that are around north wales/cheshire/shropshire/powys? My Fabia VRS is past due for it's timing chain and it's also coming up to needing to look at the DSG clutches and I do not want to be bent over a table and royally shafted by main dealers.
