Getting a new engine

Featured Replies

 Nothing to to with Skoda's but just thought I'd tell you about my other toy which is in my avatar,It's a Mallock Clubmans car & I've just p'xed the engine which is a formula ford engine (Ford Kent Crossflow)-105 BHP. Now getting the same engine but taken out to 1700cc with full steel crank and built from new last year . only done 5 races. The power curve is fantastic from 4500 it goes from 150bhp to 180bhp at 8500rpm . This is all in a car which weighs 460KG including me. This is about 430bhp / ton ( I think) . I'm going to do some track days and hillclimbs and hopefully a few races money permitting this year - Top speed is about 145mph but cornering is around 2G. Anyway have'nt told SWMBO yet so needed to if I'm not here one day.....

Imagine if you put a chipped 1.8T engine in?

Can't wait to play wannabee racing driver
