Can anyone suggest a person/number from a skoda dealer that will help me out on a replacement pod,

IE:- a replacement price + fitting n stuff....

Got a call from a guy who might have the same type ???? ring me back later.

Spoke to local service chap at D.M.Keiths in bradford, he said if i can a replacement pod, from same car approx same year they can fit it and request the PIN from skoda on the basis i get the registration and chassis no from doner car, this would cost 60 quid to fit and code n stuff.

Just need to source a pod now, not easy, i thought at least there would be a few out there of this model, Classic 1.9SDI 2001

Finally found a replacement pod, my code is 6Y2 919 860 A and found a 6Y2 919 860 D, spoke to a very nice chap called gary in parts at D.M.Keiths in bradford and he confirmed that a replacement for my A spec is indeed a D spec........

will ring dm keiths in the morning to check summat out, a girl where i work her brother worked for ford and was a top chap there.....he says it looks the ECU in the pod has lost some settings and get it recoded, might sort it out but can only be done by dealers.....

so 2 choices, just get the pod ( approx
