The car will be ok for a while but it's not ideal. Eventually you'll need to remove, rethread and refit :thumbdwn:

Ah well, i will get saving up for some coillies and then that will solve my problem :)

Is it the bolt that has snapped or is it just turning in the thread?

If you have tightmed it too much and stripped the thread you will need to replace the strut top bearing ASAP

If it has snapped then drill hole, get extractor and get it out that way

or drill hole in bolt, get left hand thread tap and get bolt to fit new hole, left hand thread will tighton onto said bolt but undo oem bolt, if you get me drift.

done this on a bolt on me old suzuki bandit....boy the fun that day......

spevie

Bet it makes you feel sick now as the cost of getting someone to fit it for you would have been reasonable now your going to waste much of this weekend and miss all the Rugby....

hopefully lesson learnt.

TBH physics is on your side - there's no reason you can't run like that until you mod the suspension.

(Mine ran like that for a while :D )

Keep the god darn thing std then these problems will not happen. Wasting your Feb 14th Money.
