Switching broadband supplier - just got easier.

Featured Replies

Your contract will be for a minimum of 12 months, so yes, they can still charge you for terminating/changing your contract.

All this will do is drive up the price of the initial set-up charges or monthly costs, the providers have to recoup the costs somehow. Lest we forget that all ISP's are at the mercy of BT. Even the LLU ones are somewhat reliant on BT for cabling etc.

At the end of the day it's easier to research the provider beforehand than switch later. With the many review sites it's not too hard to pick a decent provider.

The decision of which broadband supplier to use here in Hull is dead easy and you don't have to spend hours reading reviews...

Can anyone recommend a decent review site. Many of the so-called review sites just seem to be pay per click money generating schemes, that recommend whoever pays them the most commission.

I use thinkbroadband :: The UK's largest independent Broadband / ADSL review site - Your guide to UK broadband Internet.. They have a very comprehensive set of forums for the various ISPs so you can get a good feel for user (dis)satisfaction.
