Sory forgot to say these valves hard to fit...do i need to do anything special.:(

Dead easy to fit, but get some screw clips to replace the ones that are on, or you'll spend all day cursing that you didnt get a hose clip plier ;)

Any diverter valve will be better than the OEM, but I can only vouch for the Hyperboost (on my previous vRS) and the Bailey (on my current vRS).

N75 has nothing to do with the above and should be left alone (imho)

ive heard its worth sticking with the standard valve for a remapped car?

Have you tried searching the forums? I'm sure the general opinion is still that the OEM is prone to failure on remapped cars... But then again, I haven't visited a tuner in over 3 years ;)

:thumbdwn: Dont know where you heard that from, most OE ones fail when remapped, however i keep getting told to put the OE one back on mine:confused:

My Forge 007 sometimes flags faults and if you dont mind servicing the valve yourself it can easily be fixed plus it comes with a lifetime warranty from Forge

Others go Hyperboost or Bailey

Your choice

Your getting the dump valve and the n75 mixed up they both do completely different things to do with the turbo, the dump valve on remapped cars as said above are prone to failure however the standard item can be replaced more then four times for the cost of an uprated one, the n75 valve if remapped should be left standard, hope this clears it up

I have a Bailey DV30 - never had any problems, but I did change it before my reamp.

It's nice and shiny and bling!

And after I moved it:

is the bailey serviceable? i know the forge fella's "usually" supply a service kit FOC if you are nice.

mine is 4-5 years old iirc, has been serviced once and that was free.

and if it flicks your switch, they do a part atmos one that is tried and tested on the 20vt ,that doesn't throw up fault codes, and gives you the whooshy noise.

My Bailey was servicable but i did it myself with decent grease for the spring and a good clean out... the other parts were still ok when i did it.

i didnt think about a part atmos valve as the Bailey whooshed enough with the Jabba induction kit i had as well.

Rob - Why did you move the valve?

check out rob's

Pimp My Skoda!

its a useful little site the answer is in there

I tried an N75J...gave a little more boost but I could hear it hitting the boost limit...coudl heasr the turbo whistling pulse.

Had Jabba take it into account with a map...ran like a dawg....so took it off.

As has been said already DV and N75 are completely different but a both easy to install yourself.
