"Stolen" VRS badges

Featured Replies

About a week ago I noticed that there was no VRS badge on the front of my car.

As I'd only had it a week, I guessed that it had come from the garage without the badge and I hadn't been looking for a problem at the time. When I talked to them about it, they said it had definitely gone out with the badge, as both badges had been stolen and they'd replaced them. I know the rear badge was missing when we test drove it and they'd definitely replaced that. They said the VRS badges had nicked off another car on their forecourt this week.

Do people really nick VRS badges? If so, why?

Yes they do. The front one is easy peasy to get off, only held on by a thin slither of glue, but if the back one was missing that takes some effort.

Yup mine is missing it's front VRS badge, will have to get it replaced when it's next in the dealers for a service. Unless anyone knows of a better place to purchase them from?

Ebay? Plenty of them listed

Hmm. Wanna bet one of them was mine a couple of weeks ago? :irked:

Doubt it. New they're only pennies, so used they're worth jack all...
