New Car On Its Way

Featured Replies

Hi getting my new company car on the 14th March 2.0TDi Ambiente, really had to fight to get the 2.0 and I dont get any options at all. This is a bit of pain as there are a few things i want, I do alot of miles 50 - 60k a year and these items would make my life that little bit easier.

1. Cruise(saves my license) - This I think I'm going to retro fit and take out when it goes back.

2. Jumbo box - This is the problem as I have not seen it anywhere as an add on, I'm only after it for the arm rest not worried about ac or 3.5 socket.

3.leather wheel - enquired at local dealer and the price isn't as bad as i thought it would but since seen the vrs 3 spoke one would i be wright i thinking this would be alot dearer as would require a new airbag?

Has anybody got any advise on that lot.

Thanks Dan

Hi welcome to briskoda,

1) VRStu on here does a retro fit service, if your down south.

2) can be bought but is very expensive.

3) 3spoke is a diferant design so i would think would need a new airbag.

HTH

The expensive part of the Jumbo box is the hinge, I presume to stop people trying to retrofit it. Perhaps find one in a scrap car.

The cruise wouldn't really be worth taking out before you send the car back tbh. It'll look OEM and no one would notice so if it were me I'd just leave it in.

Steering wheel would be another thing to get from a scrap car I think.
