can anyone help?

I have a 1.3i felicia 1995. My car has always seemed to run at a really high temp- over the middle line on about 100+. I recently changed the radiator as the other one had a big hole and i have also replaced the switch for the fan as that was gone. Problem is it still runs really high and when i'm stuck in traffic for prolonged periods it creeps up and i have to keep the heater on for it to not get higher. How high should the temp run, and could there be another problem.

I have not heard the fan kick in yet but I'm scared of running it too high as i overheated before.

Try replacing the stat. this should do the job.

True the Thermostat is your first call it should be replaced its about
