vRS - base of driver seat not clipped togehter properly

Featured Replies

Just that. I noticed the plastic shroud around the base of the driver seat is pretty loose and flexes in the middle whereas the passenger seat is solid. It's almost like there are a couple of screws missing in the middle that tighten the thing up. It does not look like it will fall apart or anything but still if it's loose and not supposed to be I want it sorted. This happened on my last Mk1 RS from new too but was worse as the side was not clipped in at all. Anyone noticed this. Is it normal ? Dropping out to garage this afternoon to check another vRS.

Thanks

Jsut back from dealers. Think I was overly fussy. They all seem to be a little loose, some more then others. Just the way it was clipped together. False alarm :) Damn...gotta stop looking for problems. Actually have the vRS a month today and no issues. I think this is a good sign. My last one had too many niggles to count from day 1.

Flanno,

Just read yer posts....I wouldn't worry mate. You sound just like me! Just wait and see what I manage to grumble about once I, eventually, take delivery of my vRS. :)
