Vista & Panda Internet Security 2006???

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I just wondered if anyone running Vista can confirm if Panda Internet Security 2006 will run ok after upgrading to Vista??

I know the 2007 version of PIS works but the vista system checker won't confirm if PIS 2006 will work after moving to Vista and the Panda site doesn't seem to have anything to confirm it either.

I've got quite some time left on my PIS 2006 subscription so wanna know whether to wait till it runs out or not before moving to Vista.

Cheers

Dave.

Just bought a new computer with Vista Home Premium. Great interface and features are much better....

BUT

.......

I'm on BT Home Hub. Guess.... Yes....You guessed...the software (Drivers)will not be available until April!! Luckily the ethernet cable connects. So I can get on line

Lexmark WILL NOT be producing drivers for my printer either, which wont install!!

Wish I'd waited a few months before changing to Vista

Sorry to hear about that Chris......... I've been hearing the same sorta stuff from people at work...... I think i'm gonna give it a wide berth till later in the year at least.

The PC is currently 3 1/2 years old and still running fine.... (How bloody future proof did i build this one!!!!) I've got an Xbox 360 off the missus at christmas so the PC isn't used for gaming anymore so i can see this PC keeping going for a while yet..... Touch wood. So it'll probably just be a case of replacing the C: drive which is the oldest & smallest of the three hard disks (and is now approach 6 years old) with something a little larger and doing a clean install of Vista....... When they get close to having some form of compatability with existing software / devices.

Cheers

Dave.
