Pictures needed!

Featured Replies

As you've no doubt seen, I'm gonna do a "buyers guide" for the Felicia, so I need you good folks assistance.

I'd like some pictures of the following, so I can illustrate points and show variations in the pre and post facelifts

1- 3/4 view showing front/side of a PRE facelift Felicia (DONE!)

2- Underbonnet picture of a Pre facelift Felicia with the 1.3mpi , using the metal thermostat housing

3-Under bonnet Pics of a Carb fed 1.3

4- Pics of the "fun" and Foreman models

5- A couple of Pics of Modded Felicias to show what can be done.

All pics used will be Credited fully!

Ta muchly

Neil

Is that any use?

Better credit her current owner (ag.morley) too if you use it!

Edit: I can probably find a hi-res original if you need it

Fair do's could swear I saw a carb one, but I looked at so many favorits and felicias that day I was dizzy!

many thanks for the pics of the fun- will cover fun and modded quite nicely!

underbonnet 1.6 shots also useful! ta!

need some pics of 1.3mpi '99 with LPG conversion? (venturi system+LC, not sequential)

:) Don't mean to be pedantic, but the Foreman name for the estates was only used for the Favorits. Also all the Felicia MPi models had a plastic thermostat housing, only the SPi versions had the old alloy housing.

Have you thought of compiling a guide including both the Favorit and Felicia?

Yep its 1.6 GLXi, one of the first in the new shape - 98 R.

If you need any pics inside / out etc let me know

FYI it has electric / heated mirrors, electric windows, sunroof, central locking.

Cheers

Always willing to learn sir:D

pity they used the plastic thermostat housing- bit of a weak link....

Never owned or worked on a Favorit, so would rather keep it on cars I have at least some experience with.

As a rule yes but i have a 2001 on a Y skoda felicia 1.3 estate with a 135 carb engine in it sitting on my forecourt. And no, no-one has engine swapped it.

now lets see if i can remenber how to attatch stuff.

Some felicias were carb'd didnt know any had ever made it over here..

How does a carb engine run a cat then?

now that is pimp sir! how much is she dropped by?

A cat is a restrictive box on the exhaust and doesnt "require injection" to run, and an injection car doesnt require a cat to run either. I thought the carb'd felicias were for the domestic CZ market. Many an injection favorit was sold without cat over there as well (10% more power according to skoda figures) Many Injection skodas do pass their mot's with the cats removed.

We purchased one of those brand new in 2000, Cyprus specification with air conditioning. I plugged our diagnostic machine into it and there were no control modules to be found. Thought it would be trouble in 3 years time trying to get it through an MOT test so my boss backed it and got his money back.

Looks like someone ended up with one of them.

35mm at the moment. will be 40mm if i ever get the hp struts.

she'll look better with the 195 tyers on some 15"s. that u'll bring the wheels out to fill the arches abit more. the back wheels realy need to come out abit, when you lower it you can realy see how tucked inside the body thay are.
