Retro heated leather seats???

Featured Replies

Hi all, just orderd new ltd vrs was wondering can i get the leather seats heated as a after market job seeing its not an option with the ltd edition? any ideas?? i live in bristol, many thanks:confused:

They can be retro-fitted, but will cost quite a bit.

Parts that will need to be fitted include:-

Heating elements,

Wiring loom,

Switches,

Relays.

Then if you don't want to fit it yourself, labour to fit all the above will be a day minimum.

Stripping and re-covering the seats isn't as straightforward as it might look.

I've done it myself. ;)

Likewise. :D

What's not straightforward about it ?

SEAT STRIP

A little time consuming and a bit fiddly in places perhaps but otherwise pretty straight forward I would have thought ?

Thanks, did not relise about stripping seats down thought you could just add it on under the seat some how..Doh..

The seat base is easy, but the back rest is a whole different ball game, trust me.

Just out of curiosity and in case I ever contemplate doing one, what actually is the difficult bits with the backrest covers ?

The base itself as I said, seemed pretty straightforward to me.
