Hi, folks, just joined. My daughter bought a Fabia 1.4 last year, I was so impressed, went for a test drive in petrol & TDi Octavias. I'd owned several Citroen turbodiesels before, always liked them, but driving the Octavia TDi showed just how far behind Citroen had fallen. I ended up with a 03/53 Octavia estate, L&K, 130, with all the toys, 6 speed, xenons etc. I am now wondering what took me so long to realise just how good these cars really are. I've only had it 10 days, already put 600 non-business miles on, average consumption 51.5, brilliant. Although the ASR takes care of any excessive traction issues, I suspect I might get through the front tyres rapidly until I get the hang of driving it smoothly. Tyres are currently Dunlop SP sports, does anyone have any recommendations when the time comes to change ?
