Which one?

Featured Replies

Hi There,

I will be test driving a deisel vrs octavia tomorrow as the petrol version I was due to test today has been sold. Everyeone has told me that the deisel is better for the overall enjoyment factor for fun. Anyone got any comments?

I was not sure about Skoda as I have always had VW's before but the reviews I have read make me want to give this a go.

Replies appreciated.

Hello and welcome. I've got the diesel version and I love the way the power is delivered, really pushing you back in the seat. I believe the octavia is based on the golf chassis and vag running gear, so I think of it as a golf gti with more boot space for less money. Brilliant.

This car was a lazy piece if crap leaving the garage. Bumping over the humps and onto the main road I really thought of what have I done. . Onto the main road and what an ordinary drive. Then....Put the boot down and for f@kc sake.. The missus was holding onto the firm seats aand I was coming in my pants. Gettin it next week and not what the missus wants. What a beauty.
