Fabia vRS with strut brace???

Featured Replies

Can anyone who has fitted a front upper strut brace to their Fabia vRS advise on how much if anything it affected their insurance??? Just wanted to get an idea of the 'total' cost of the mod..... if you see what i mean.

Cheers

Dave.

When I was still with Zurich I had strut brace, rear ARB, Eibachs, 312 mm brake upgrade (fronts) added for 50 quid extra - fairly sure that was nearly for the full year.

Any power enhancing stuff tends to kick the premium upward much faster, but I'd just ask for a quote :)

Have you got one yet Dave??

Is it red with a seat sport sticker in the middle???

:D

Mine was a free mod  along with my Dragon box too :D

Though some insurers will charge an 'admin' fee.

Hint: If you fit one, DO NOT use it as a tow bar.

And if you absolutely must do not expect to ever live it down!

strut brace, rear ARB, Eibachs, 312 mm brake upgrade - all free

The only thing that might affect the insurance would be a remap (or anything that increases BHP)... Apparently... :D :P

Thats with Highway insurance...
