4x4 headache...any ideas??

I too would get the performance Haldex ECU if I could afford and justify doing so. But given the cost of either ECU, its rather an expensive route to go when still fault-finding. A thought - have you had a look at any other VAG forums to see if there is any helpful info there? I've posted a few possibles below:

thanks for all the tips guys, well i will do the MAF on saturday and eliminate that problem first, then keep an eye on the esp as its not on at the mo, sounds very similar to what you experienced Lee. As you said adam if its worse than the MAF and the haldex controller needs replacing then will def go the uprated route especially as I drive an a6 quattro so am used to 4x4 driving nowdays. For now i will try to eliminate the problem without spending a fortune. Thanks for the links DGW will check them out.

Kandy, very nice news from Haldex team :thumbup: ... I hope it will be implemented soon on Octavia 4x4 (Scout facelift, maybe?) :rolleyes:
