Dirty windows.

Featured Replies

Have lost my rear window spray:( . Its a vrs hatch. I know there is water, I can also hear the pump running. There is power, as the wiper moves. Before I strip the wrong part of the car apart, is there something that this is more than likely to be?

Don't test it too much - Im sure I've read that the pipe can come apart.

Have you got a wet boot floor?

Had this on mine...the pipe had come off the pump...thought that it was just frozen and just kept trying it not realizing that the water was going into the boot!

Remove the rear trim and have a look…

Yep inside the boot at the left about under where a CD changer is or would be if you don't have it.

fixed this on mine today. pipe disconnected behind the cd changer, it just clips back in. I wish i had looked here first could have saved filling the boot with water!

Did this on mine last week. Removed the plastic trim off the boot lid. Put the pipe back on, that had flooded the boot out.

Be careful the plastic trim is a pig to get back on.

Ours had this a couple of weeks ago. The pipe had come off not behind the CD changer but actually where it connects just under the rear window. The large plastic panel needs to be taken off and then the pipe pushes back into a connector - quite easy and takes about 15 minutes.

Amusingly (looking back), I opened the hatch and had screenwash dumped into my hair whilst in a garden centre car park. How we laughed ...
