Hello I need a little help with vag-com that I recently downloaded and a cable bought from e-bay , now the query i have is that when i run a scan for fault codes it will scan the engine for faults and then move onto ABS when this happens it says " you need a registered version to scan " but instead of moving onto the next section of the scan it stops , is this correct or am i doing something wrong? Also on certain scan areas I get another message which says " controller not responding" what does this mean?

I shall trnasfer you to the VAG COM section then.

But as its not a genuine lead i dont know how much help you will get from them.

Have you read the links and the FAQ's at the top of the section?

Auto-Scan is only available in the full/registered version. Since you are using the shareware you need to scan the modules manually/individually.

If a control module does not respond, its most likely not installed.
