Just registered. Found the site while looking for stuff about the wet floor!

Have just bought a Fabia 1.9Tdi Elegance H/B on an 03 plate as a run around and it has a wet floor. How depressing is that. Anyway, the dealer has done the seal on all four carrier plates so I await the next downpour.

As it happens, this is my second Fabia purchase in as many weeks. I bought my mother a 1.4Tdi a couple of weeks ago (dry floors) and like it so much I bought myself one. My other car is a Passat Tdi 1.9Tdi 130. I have driven VAG cars almost exclusively for 25 years so am sold on the group.

I am delighted to have found the site and have already learned loads about the car's foibles. I hope I will be able to contribute something back.
