Octavia VRS Mileage

Featured Replies

Hey everyone, im currently on the lookout for a VRS and seen a few around with 100k plus miles on. Just wondered if people could give me there experience of high mileage octy vrs's and any problems they have had, due to the mileage.

Cheers Andy

Mine is on 110k, just had the service done yesterday. Drives fine, looks good inside and out, bar the stone chips. So far, the water pump impeller blades went. Common fault. Turbo gaskets/seals were visibly leaking oil, so was replaced as a precaution, and smokes, but only after a long idle, but nothing once driven for a bit. seems to just be my car and no one knows why. Have a small list of perishables to replace in the next year, such as bump stops disks etc, but that is to be expected, on a car that although only just 4 years old, has over ten years of wear and tear on it.

I've sold my previous one with 130K on the clock and it is still doing service. Not a problem at all

Just about to roll onto 102,000 and mine still feels as good as the day it was new.

It's getting new suspension next month, but otherwise no grumbles :)
