I've got a leak in my fabia which I think is not due to the doors (I have checked them), so I'm going to try underneath the scuttle panel. I've done a search on here for this but have got confused because there seems to be so many different threads about this all seeming to say different things. Some involve blocking something up, others cleaning something out and others sealing something. I'm wondering if there is someone who has done this and can explain it because I'm more confused now than before I looked on the site.

its usually the drain tubes under the scuttle panel that get blocked up with leaves and debris , the water then leaks in through the pollen filter housing

Where do the drain tubes run to? Rather than pulling it to bits I was thinking of running some water over the scuttle panel and see if it drains out or not.
