hi when leasing a car from skoda do you have it serviced at a main dealer or do you use a indipendent as long as they use skoda parts as i have been told it HAS to be a main dealer

I would suspect it depends what it says in the Lease Contract

To comply with the warranty you don't have to have it serviced at a Skoda dealer or use Skoda parts, the parts have to be of equivalent quality and in the event of a claim it will be up to you to prove that. However you will have to do what the leasing company say, as at the end of the day it is their car and the residual value may well be more with a dealer history than with a non dealer history, and this is factored into the price you pay.
