Trying to dissuade the eBay jokers

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

I'm fed up with eBay jokers making a mockery of any attempt I make to try and sell my car on the 'bay. "Do I want to swap with this 16 year old Audi A8?". No. "Will you accept a cheque from Addis Abbaba?". No.

So I've listed my car - eBay.co.uk link - with what I believe to be a cast iron set of rules to stop them faffing about with my listing.

Have I been too harsh??!!

Ha - academic anyway - eBay failed to see the funny side and deleted the auction.

I can't post the new link up (sorry, didn't know about rules on that) but if you find it, you'll see what I asked.

Bad enough with prat bidders so gave up on getting anything for a reasonable price on eBay, the best question seen so far in the car auction was - 'Can you wrap it up so I can give it as a birthday present for my wife who is currently in Mexico'

Its easy to block the foreign bidders, its under your selling preferences, then just ignore them.
