136 Rapid tuning

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I

I would sugges going for a twin choke Weber DGV type carb instead of the dcoe's, you get better fuelling across the range rather than all or nothing the DCOE's can be a pain int he neck at lower revs. The exhaust on a rapid is quite short, so most of the performance is in the box design itself, ashley do a full system quite cheap, ashley might not be the best name around but their stuff does work and performs as well as any, however I finf them a bit ont he loud side. Cams are available from kent. If you want real tuning though you need need proper work done on the head as well, These guys in CZ offer a lot of very good kit .: ENGITEC :., they offer a lot of engine building services which arent on the site yet so worth dropping them an email.
